“I am proud to be a patron of Brighton’s wonderful CINECITY. The festival is always thoughtfully curated, and I have spent countless hours immersing myself in their excellent & eclectic mix of films. I love this film festival – it beautifully reflects the creative and vibrant spirit that makes Brighton so special.” – Nick Cave

CINECITY’s 25th annual edition will take place next year and, as we approach this landmark we are asking for your help and support as we take our next steps.
As an independent festival, we want to continue bringing audiences more of the very best international cinema plus special events, exhibitions and commissions.
We would also like to give opportunities to the next generation of curators, develop new partnerships across the city and region and create more networking and professional development events for the film community.
The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog (Dir: Alfred Hitchcock 1927) with live score from Covent Garden Sinfonia, Duke of York’s CINECITY 2017.
