Music Weekender at the Basement: Art Will Save the World Q&A 2012

26 November 2012

One of the revelations of Cinecity so far has been music weekender hosted by the intimate pop-up cinema at the Basement. With an eclectic mix of music films and documentaries, the underground venue was the perfect setting for films varying from a tribute to Nick Cave (Do You Love Me Like I Love You), the rise and fall of the independent record shop (Last Shop Standing) or the romp through the life and music of Luke Haines, often described as one of the greatest English contemporary songwriters.

Here is the Q&A with director Niall McCann and Luke Haines himself, which took place a ‘boozy’ Saturday night, just after the screening of ‘Art Will Save the World’.
