Following his critically acclaimed fourth feature, Force Majeure, in 2014, Ruben Östlund’s The Square, walked away with the coveted Palme d͛Or at this year͛s Cannes Film Festival. This self-penned, art world satire stars Elisabeth Moss, Claes Bang and Dominic West in a poignant drama full of inventive set pieces and deadpan wit, that reflects the uncertain times we live in.

Christian (Bang) is a divorced but devoted father of two, and the respected curator of a contemporary art museum in Stockholm. He’s gearing up to launch their next show, The Square, a daring installation examining altruism and our duty to help others. The theft of his mobile phone is the catalyst for Christian͛s progressive world view to run head-on into unsettling experience.
