From its inception CINECITY has interwoven shorts screenings into the festival programme, bringing the work of new breakthrough talent to its audiences. With the renaissance in recent years of Romanian Cinema, the Sallis Benney Theatre played host to a free screening of NEW ROMANIAN SHORTS, curated by Mihai Chirilov, film critic and Transylvania International Film Festival Director.
CINECITY co-festival director Tim Brown was joined on stage by director Gabriel Sarbu, whose film LIFE’S HARD played as part of the collection.
