LUST, CAUTION Fills the House
We're very pleased say that CINECITY 2007 has well and truly launched, with the opening night screening of LUST, CAUTION playing to a sold out crowd. If you didn't manage to get a ticket, you can experience it vicariously through the CINECITY Flickr! pictures, which will be the visual record of this year's festival. This weekend is jam packed with excellent films beginning with Brad Pitt's star turn in THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES BY THE COWARD ROBERT FORD, which has a soundtrack composed by renowned musician and CINECITY patron Nick Cave, with his long-term collaborator Warren Ellis, who discusses his creative process on the CINECITY podcast.
Finally, what's better than a festival of stunning cinema stretching out ahead of you? Perhaps the chance to experience some of it for free! Yes you read that right, over the weekend we'll be offering the chance to win the first pair of free tickets to one of the CINECITY screening events exclusively through the Newsletter, so even more reason to sign up and keep those eagle eyes peeled.
